A spirited voice and a mean right hand.

Greetings. I'm Cat McGee. I'm a singer/songwriter and a native of Dallas, Texas. Please take a look around, and I hope you'll take some time to check out a performance!

My debut album, Don't Rush Me, is now available online at cdbaby.com, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, etc. CD's are now available - see my Contacts page to let me know you'd like to purchase any.

The website has an audio player (at the very top of the page - requires JavaScript). OR you can go to the Music page to listen. I add songs from time to time, so drop by frequently and often.

 September 2018 Update

Greetings! I hope Labor Day weekend was enjoyable for y'all. As was the case for most of August, I just melted into my couch and tried to stay cool.

I have a busy month ahead, but I'll be performing at a couple of open mics:

Poor David's Pub open mic, Monday, September 10, starts at 7:00 p.m. This is always an interesting open mic. Come check it out. Full bar. You can bring your own dinner. South of Downtown on Lamar, catty-corner from the Dallas PD HQ, so drive like you care about the speed limit.

MarRosso Cafe open mic, Monday, September 17, starts at 7:00 p.m. One of my favorite open mics, hosted by Rob Case, who has taken on the questionable enterprise of teaching me to play the violin. Tasty East African vittles and a full bar, not to mention the great coffee. In Richardson at Coit and Beltline.

You can check this website and my Facebook page for spontaneous performances and last-minute announcements.

See you out and about!

I had a terrific experience performing at Mercy Wine Bar on Sunday, May 22, and I'm pretty sure everyone else was enjoying themselves too! And as always, I had fun performing at the Wildflower Art & Music Festival the day before.

Cat McGee performs at the Mercy Wine Bar in Addison, Texas on May 22, 2016

I joined Judy Lunn and Mandy Rowden at a fun, wonderful house concert this weekend, October 17th, in Austin. Our hosts, Dave and Margee, were exceptional! Thank you!
